A fake breed – the Boughbender! Female, male, and hatchie.

Herbivorous, and I picture them as a Nature breed (could also be Earth); they’re not capable of powered flight for an extended period, and switch from bipedal to more quadrapedal (wing assisted) as they age and get heavier (they also grow teeth in adolescence). They’re about 12 metres long, with the males hitting about 9 metres.

I’ll do a few genes in a separate post later on!

Just sayin like…

and that

and just

y’know

Have we talked about this before and I just missed it ???

Okay wait cause like…

Look at spirals for a second. They’re very small and very long.

Small meaning that they probably have no shortage of natural predators in a world full of very giant things.

Long meaning if you tried to snatch one you’ve got maybe a 40% or so chance of getting them by the tail.

Hence

Those suckers pop off

Like lizards

Tug on it too hard?

Gone.

I did some reading up on lizards and I found this bit interesting also,

“Many lizards will regenerate their tail, especially if they are young lizards. However, the tail is generally not the same length or color as it was before, and it may have abnormal scales or patterns.“

I feel a series of accents coming on…

Festival familiar predictions

Ice = longneck

Water = maren

Nature = dryad

Wind = raptorick

Earth = centaur

Shadow = mushroom dude

For every prediction I get right, I’ll give the matching elemental egg to a random person who reblogs this post

Genes are overrated, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! You don’t need to look complicated to be beautiful. If your basic dragon gets picked on by those irishimgems, cheer them up with one of these badges!

Feel free to use these on your dragon’s profiles or for whatever nefarious purposes you have…. but it would be cool if you pointed ‘em back to this blog, or if you don’t wanna link offsite, to my FR (34420 Akrona).
