I am dreaming of her again. She beckons me forward, towards her where she clutches me to her breast, fingers like spider legs moving along the notches of my spine. All of a sudden she shoves me to my knees, to the ground that writhes around my legs like a living thing, and that’s because it is alive!
Alive with the pulse of maggots, all reaching out to her, scrambling over my thighs and squirming their way inside me by any means. I do not call out for help, not even when larvae pour from my eyes like tears and from my mouth like water- I have no reason to be afraid because she is taking me inside her, into her rotten womb to be reborn as her one true prophet.
